1. When you put in battery and turn on camera, the camera will state it does NOT recognize the Batteries as Genuine Canon Batteries and ask if the Canon logo was on them. You should check off “No “.

3. Since this is a half decoded battery, selective boot-strap is required. It will not damaged your camera. Please feel free to use it.
